Early this morning we visited the Birch Aquarium in San Diego. It is part of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and was not far from our route out of San Diego towards Los Angeles. We had a nice, relaxing morning wandering around the place checking out some funky fish. The aquarium allow you to touch the sea life in their simulated tide pools, so we had fun playing with all manner of strange, squidgy little creatures. Sounds like Saturday night at my place. Boom!
Back on the road, we passed though San Clemente's border patrol in Orange County and we were finally set for the City of Angels. It was only a two hour drive but the traffic was pretty intense. I think I'm getting used to driving on these eight lane interstates.
